North Langley Softball is now accepting applications to coach both the 2008 Mite Select Team, and also the 2009 Development Team.
Attached is the coaching application, when completed, please email to Trevor Moreno at firstname.lastname@example.org
2008 Mite Select Team—What to expect?
This team will be in the MS LMSC interlock, and will play all over the Lower Mainland, likely Monday and Wednesday, based on past history. They will also play 3-5 tournaments, concluding with the U10 Provincials in Burnaby at Squint Lake Park, on the July long weekend. There may be some stateside travel too—coaches call. This program is a “prequel” to rep ball, there will still be development for all athletes, BUT from time to time during tournament play, things may get a bit tighter on the bench. Offseason training will likely be 1 team practice a week, plus batting practice once a week.
2009 Development Team—What to expect?
This team will practice together once to twice a week in the offseason---then the girls will be fairly mixed amongst the U10 C teams during the season, getting together ONLY to go into tournaments. Please make sure you understand that they will not be playing all together during the regular season, but will rather help balance the other teams.
Tryouts have been tentatively set for Saturday September 23. Please complete the registration at this link: Registration Link
Lastly, for those that don’t want to try-out, no problem, your daughter will be placed in traditional U10 division next year to have fun!
